Lotus Renault GP team has had a lot of owners and names for over the years. Don’t be confused with Team Lotus which also powered by Renault this year that unveiled the new green and yellow car yesterday. Lotus Renault is the latest reincarnation of Toleman team which was operated in the early 80s, which then became Benetton before using Renault team flag.



Their new car will be named R31, showing the continuity with the team it succeeds, and the black and gold color that the other Lotus outfit was initially planning to use and that hearkens back to the JPS livery which the original Lotus team ran under Renault’s power in the 80s. It is the evolution of the Renault R30 from last year. It was unveiled in the pit lane at Valencia where the first pre season test is now underway.



For your information, after much speculation, the R31 will be driven by the Eastern European pairing: Robert Kubica and Vitaly Petrov. The team was also lined up with some extensive test driving crew such as Bruno Senna, Romain Grosjean, Fairuz Fauzy, Ho-Ping Tung, and the Le Mans Series champion, Jan Chaoruz.

Blind Man Do The Full Lap On Daytona



Another day, another lap at 24 hours Daytona champion. But something interesting was happened before the prototypes even touching the track, though, when the Ford Escape Hybrid took on the 1.5 mile lap course. There is no records were break by the driver, Mark Anthony Riccobono. But here is the thing. He did successfully maneuver the Escape without the help of the most important thing on driving: vision.



This driver, Riccobono, is totally blind. But with the help of a non visual technology, he is able to complete the Daytona road course. Beyond simply making the lefts or rights, Riccobono also had to avoid some various obstacles. Some of them were stationary, while the others were thrown randomly from the back of a van. Riccobono was succeeded to avoid all of them, and then he passed the van before crossing the finish line.



The event is marking the first time a blind person has driven a vehicle around the course without the aid of any sighted person. It was a totally major milestone for the Blind Driver Challenge, which aims to improve the blind interface technology.

Unfortunately, it may be a good long as before we see the fruits of the Hallmark’s labors come to the surface. However, Jaguar says that it is just the beginning to have a look on the new, smaller model, and that it could be four years or more until the vehicle will shows up on the dealer lots.

This is a great day for Aston Martin’s fans! The new Astom Martin’s supercar flagship the Aston Martin One-77 is being delivered to the first lucky customer in around the world. Aston Martin One-77 is the fastest vehicle, most powerful, and most expensive that Aston Martin has ever build. However, it is limited to strictly 77 pieces only, with the initial price tag of € 1,340,000.



Previously in November, Aston Martin has announced the price increase of an incredible £ 150,000 for the remaining 17 unsold units of the One-77′s. The 7.3 liter V12 engine will produce a wonderful 760 horsepower to make it the most powerful naturally aspirated engine for a production car. The One-77 car will deliver a maximum torque of 750Nm. The car is able to reach 0-100km/h in only 3.5 seconds, while the top speed is 220 mph.



One of the first customer who receive the car is this lucky customer from Monaco. The car was spotted parked in fron of Hotel de Paris around the center of Monte Carlo. I hope that soon the Aston Marting One 77′s car will be able to see soon on the streets around the world. With the first group of 77 examples has now delivered, the production run is set to conclude at around the end of the year.

To be more detailed, we are looking at the number 007 of 20 Reventon supercars that Lamborghini produced after their tremendous reception that the car get after being introduced at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
